27 čiže smrť robí umelca / 27 or Death Makes an Artist
Vydavateľstvo Q111

(2011)

It is an extraordinary book both in form and content. It confronts a family living off welfare with a young woman that comes to Finland to get to know the local traditions and fulfil her literary ambitions. The plot is narrated from four different perspectives. It is not an easy reading, but it surely is witty funny and intriguing. The book was first published by the editorial Theos in Finnish, then in Denmark by Gyldendal, in Italy by Piemme, in the Czech Republic by Argo, in Slovakia it was published by Q111, and it also has a Polish translation published by W.A.B.
